Uganda Forest Conservation Group is committed to strengthening the ability of institutions to effectively manage and protect forests and biodiversity. We work with government agencies, local authorities, and community-based organizations to build the skills, knowledge, and systems needed for sustainable conservation. Our support includes specialized training programs, mentorship, and hands-on guidance in the design and implementation of conservation initiatives.

By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, we empower institutions to develop and enforce policies, monitor ecosystems, and engage communities in environmental stewardship. We also pilot innovative conservation models that can be scaled up or replicated, providing practical learning opportunities for partner institutions. Through this holistic capacity-building approach, we aim to create a strong foundation for long-term environmental governance, ensuring that key actors at all levels are equipped to address conservation challenges and contribute meaningfully to the protection of Uganda’s natural heritage.
