Uganda Forest Conservation Group is actively involved in the fight against climate change through targeted initiatives that reduce environmental impact and build community resilience. Our approach focuses on both mitigation and adaptation, recognizing the urgent need to address climate-related challenges at the grassroots level. We implement activities such as forest restoration, sustainable land use, and promotion of clean energy alternatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect carbon sinks. At the same time, we work closely with local communities to enhance their capacity to adapt to climate impacts—through climate-smart agriculture, water conservation, and disaster preparedness training.

By integrating scientific knowledge with indigenous practices, we help vulnerable populations manage climate risks while preserving natural ecosystems. Our climate action efforts aim not only to protect the environment but also to secure sustainable livelihoods and long-term development for communities on the frontlines of climate change.
