At Uganda Forest Conservation Group, we are committed to protecting Uganda’s rich biodiversity while supporting the well-being of the communities who live closest to it. Our work focuses on safeguarding critical wildlife habitats and maintaining ecological balance through conservation actions that protect endangered species and promote healthy ecosystems. Recognizing the deep connection between people and nature, we actively promote sustainable livelihoods that reduce pressure on natural resources.

By engaging local communities in conservation-friendly income-generating activities—such as beekeeping, agroforestry, and ecotourism—we help create economic alternatives that support both household resilience and environmental protection. We also provide training and capacity building to empower communities as stewards of their natural heritage. Through this integrated approach, we ensure that the conservation of biodiversity goes hand-in-hand with improving lives, fostering a sustainable coexistence between humans and the diverse ecosystems they depend on.
